On Saturday, October 30th, the MCS Club held it's second LAN party in OM 132. The event drew approximately 16 students and went from noon to 1 A.M. Various games such as CounterStrike, Quake III, and others were also played. Two tournaments were held, one for a USB jumpdrive. The prize tournament game was Dune 2000, which was won by Ryan Gallagher (I think). There was also a StarCraft tournament, which was won by someone (I don't have the name right now). The MCS Club hopes to have another LAN party next semester, so if you're interested, keep your eyes open. Any ideas as to how we could improve the LAN party would also be appreciated.
